The Thing Is…
There are some truly wonderful independent hotels in the world. Architecturally stunning, fab design features & fittings, massive attention to detail… and that oh-so-important, pitch-perfect, level of unobtrusive service that makes you feel like you’re coming home to an old friend.
Everything is pretty much spot on when you arrive. Then you get to your room, parched from travel, and the tea, um… well it can seem a bit of an afterthought. It’s simply not at the same level.
But, we hear you say, tea is just tea isn’t it?
Well no actually, it isn’t. That first cup of tea can set the tone for your whole stay.
So…
That’s where we come in. We’ve been ‘making tea’ (as it were) since the dawn of time. (Well, possibly a tad after that but we‘re sure that you get the gist.)
We’re master blenders – the UK’s largest independent tea blender and supplier to many of this land’s most ‘grand & storied’ hostelries and retail establishments.
So, not to put too finer point on it, we know a little of what we speak, and our view is, why have average when you can have the best?
The Big Idea…
Simple. Blend a unique range of teas specifically for these rather dreamy hotels.
And when we looked a bit closer at this we realised that although they’re all highly individual in nature they all tend to share one key critical characteristic. That’s that they’re all likely have to have, or could have, a rather super freestanding bath.
Hence the name and what you’re about to see on this website. Which by the way is summed up by this little graphic…
